We knew that we would find wonderful traditions of design and craftsmanship ... what we didn't expect were the deep ties to ancient cultures, techniques, and communities we discovered along the way.
Our representations are inspired by patterns from many cultures and celebrate the traditions and artisans who create them.

Her depiction of rich textures is what drew us to her work. Born in the Philippines, having lived in Singapore and Germany, and now residing in South Africa, we are sure her work has been deeply informed by a wide world view.
